What Minnas collects
We collect the account, Workspace, billing, and contact information needed to provide Minnas. When a business connects a channel, we process the customer messages and context that the business chooses to bring into its Workspace.
For Shopify stores, this can include customer name, email address, phone number, order number, order status, fulfillment status, totals, currency, and order timestamps. Minnas requests read-only access and does not collect card details.
How information is used
We use information to run the Inbox and Messenger, show relevant store context beside a conversation, deliver messages, secure accounts, provide support, process billing, and improve the reliability of Minnas. We do not sell personal information or use a store's customer data for advertising.
Service providers
Minnas uses service providers for hosting, email delivery, billing, connected ecommerce services, and optional AI features. They receive only the information needed to provide their service. AI suggestions are requested by a teammate and are never sent to a customer automatically.
Storage, security, and retention
Minnas uses encrypted connections and encrypts stored connection credentials. Workspace information is separated in the application and access is limited to authorized teammates and the small number of people who operate Minnas.
We keep account and conversation information while a Workspace uses Minnas, and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. A Workspace owner can ask us to export or delete information by contacting us.
Shopify privacy requests
Minnas responds to Shopify's required customer data, customer redaction, and shop redaction webhooks. A customer redaction removes matching Shopify customer identity and order records from Minnas. A shop redaction removes the Shopify connection and its imported store records.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. A store customer should normally contact the business they spoke with first, because that business controls its customer-support records.
